About Ark of The Covenant

Our History

Ark of The Covenant was founded on February 14, 2000 by Pastor Arthur Miller with a mission to create a place where people could experience God's presence and power in a real and tangible way. Our name comes from the biblical ark of the covenant, which represented God's presence among His people.

Our congregation began with just eight people meeting at the Holiday Inn in Jacksonville, NC to share the vision. The Lord quickly moved us to 206 Henderson Drive, and we've grown steadily over the years. We moved to our current location in 2015, and we've continued to expand our ministries and outreach programs.

Our Mission

At Ark of The Covenant, our mission is simple: to help people come into a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and to create a community where God's love and power are evident. We believe in "letting God be God" in our lives and in our church.

We envision a church that impacts the Jacksonville and Richlands areas with the love and power of Jesus Christ. We see a community of believers who are passionate about God, committed to His purposes, and actively involved in reaching others with the Gospel.
