Early Life

On March 17, 1963 the body of Christ received a gift from God. Pastor Arthur Miller was born in Titusville Florida, but raised in Mims Florida. At age six, with the help of the Lord, his uncle Rev. Robert Woodson, "Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Titusville Florida", taught him, that he can be a man in this world without acting like the people in this world. Rev. Woodson would often say, "to be a man, you must first fear the Lord, then protect and provide for your family, but most of all, do what the Lord has call you to do."

Following in the footsteps of his Grandmother, Mary Sipplen, and Mother, Mary Miller, Pastor Miller began preaching God's Word at the age of sixteen, under the watchful eyes of Pastor Glover and Co-Pastor Wolf, the angels of Pentecostal Holiness Church in Titusville Florida.

The Marine Corps (1981-1999)

Pastor Miller joined the Marine Corps in 1981. His first duty station was Camp Elmore in Norfolk VA. He began to back-slide, but the word of God never left his ear. Then he received orders in 1985 to MCAS Iwakuni Japan, where he met his wife, Cpl Nancy Jackson. They got married on June 13, 1986, and God blessed them with two children, Tyrone and Alexandria Rachel. Although he was blessed with a family, he was not working in the gift that God called him to, therefore, all was not well.

Okinawa

In 1992 Pastor Miller received orders to Okinawa Japan. He felt like he was running away from his duty as a husband, father and most of all doing what God called him to do, "preaching God's word." When he arrived in Japan, God had a ram in the bush by the name of Sgt Ramsey. Sgt Ramsey said, "The Lord knows your heart, and he told me to tell you to stop running away from your duties, God has a Divine appointment for you, so get yourself in order, and get on the right path."

Sgt Ramsey went to New Covenant Church of God In Christ, where Pastor and First Lady Holliday were the angels of the church. Pastor Holliday told Pastor Miller that the Lord wants him to let go of all his pain and give it to him. He asked Pastor Miller do he believe that God can wash him clean? Pastor Miller said YES. He took his hand and started from the top of Pastor Miller head down to his feet, Pastor Holliday out side and he shocked out Pastor Miller sins. Pastor Holliday said "Look and see how the water wash away your sin, open up your heart in let God wash away your sin."

First Lady Holliday, being lead of God, told Pastor Miller that he has to take a full step out, and stop taking half steps. Pastor Holliday ordained Pastor Miller as a deacon, but that was not what God call Pastor Miller to do. Pastor Holliday, being lead by God, allowed Pastor Miller, on a Friday night, to bring the word of God. After that night Pastor Miller heard God leading clearly. God told Pastor Miller to open a church and call it "Ark of The Covenant" the place where Jahew dwells. This was in 1993.

Kansas City Missouri

In 1995, First Lady Miller and family received orders to Kansas City Missouri. God had another ram in the bush, by the name of Pastor Andrew, the Pastor of Faith Temple Inter-Denominational Church. Pastor Miller became Pastor Andrew's head deacon, and God allowed Pastor Andrew to see that Pastor Miller was not in the right calling. In 1996, Pastor Miller told Pastor Andrew that God called him to preach. Pastor Andrew asked, "what took you so long." Pastor Andrew ordained Pastor Miller as a Minister to preach God's word in 1997. With God's help, Pastor Andrew helped Pastor Miller to find the old path. Pastor Miller was ordained as an elder by Pastor Andrew in 1999.

Camp Lejeune

November 1999, First Lady Miller received orders to Camp Lejeune North Carolina. On February 14, 2000 God breathed Life into the Ark of the Covenant Ministries. We meet at the Holiday Inn located in Jacksonville, NC to share the vision with eight people. The Lord quickly moved us out of the Holiday Inn to 206 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville NC. Pastor Miller, being lead by God, in 2001, asked Elder Larry Person of Jacksonville NC to be the Co-Pastor. The Ark of the Covenant is a church where you can "LET GOD BE GOD." A PLACE WHERE CHRIST MENDS BROKEN LIVES.
